Tonsillectomy Blues

Well, my persistence has paid off and my doctor finally realized that my tonsils just had to go! My surgery was back on February 10th, and if it wasn't for Brian's Mom coming in to help out with me, the house and Logan, then who knows where we'd be right now. I'm back at work after taking 10 days off for my tonsillectomy. This surgery was very painful in the fact that I couldn't swallow hardly anything but lukewarm water. I lost 8 pounds from the surgery, but when you can't eat for 12 days or so, that will happen. Before I had my tonsillectomy, my good friends Michele and Tim took me up to KU to watch their nephew Brady Morningstar play. We had a great time and the 'sleep over' at the Morningstar's house was very fun, even though I kept cheating at pool. I got to meet Sherron Collins and Tyrel Reed this time, but it's my Brady that I like seeing.
